About Jeff
Jeff blends 20+ years of pastoral care with counseling education to provide individual, couple, and group therapy.
- Master of Counseling from Carson-Newman University.
- Master of Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary.
- Bachelor of Education from Baylor University, with a specialization in Early Childhood.
Jeff worked at Revitalist from the fall of 2018 to July of 2021, serving as the Lead Therapist and Director of Therapy Services. He participated in well over two thousand ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) sessions. In this role, Jeff shared his knowledge and expertise with other psychotherapy professionals on a local, national, and international level. During his time at Revitalist, he was recognized as the most experienced therapist in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy via infusions within the state of Tennessee.
In July of 2021, Jeff decided to open (or reopen) Journey Family Counseling to focus on couples and clients suffering from religious trauma, depression, and anxiety.
Jeff’s experience and education give clients tools and new perspectives that help them overcome their struggles.
